A lot of us are more concerned with the excess body hair we acquire that we forget about taking care of something more important, body care. Ever stopped to check in with yourself? Perhaps check that posture, maybe rolled those wrists out that have been working all day behind the chair or on the computer typing away (I'm now rolling my wrists...standby)
Let's get to it:
Stand as you normally do, and notice how your shoulders are, maybe you are slightly hunched over, shoulders rolled forward?
Your ears should be directly over your shoulders, shoulders over your hips, and feet planted firmly with all toes being able to touch the ground. Do not arch your back to get a proper posture, the pelvis is neutral, meaning no arching or tucking.
Look at Kate Middleton, that woman is on point with her posture (and her wardrobe).
If your posture is off, the rest of your body is compensating in other areas creating more issues later on. How do I know you ask? As a Stylist, I lean towards my left side for many years, so my left hip, knee, and ankle have been screaming at me, but luckily are now in recovery. The doctor thinks I'll pull through.
This is the only body you, take care of it now and it will take care of you through the years! Receive more tips for your own Self Care Behind the Chair by connecting with me at georgiahairstyles@gmail.com and follow me on instagram self_care_behind_the_chair.
